VENDOR POLICIES
Artisans must be of Asian background or have a meaningful relationship with Asian culture. Our
mandate is to support the development of Asian Canadian identity and culture on the Sunshine Coast.
Priority is given to local artisans.
Our festival focuses on handmade artifacts, Asian art forms, and the
work of Asian Canadian artists. We also include fair trade handcrafted items from Asia.
HOURS
Festival hours are 1 pm to approximately dusk on Saturday,
September 25. Set-up begins at Dougall Park at 9 am. Please
be ready to open at 1 pm, and to tear down at 5 pm.
SET-UP
The Festival will provide tables and chairs, if required. Tables are outdoors and the Festival
cannot supply electricity. You are welcome to share your table with another craftsperson, but she/he
must apply and be accepted individually.
FEES
Vendors will pay a commission equal to 20% of net sales to the New Moon Festival Society. If
possible, please pay by the end of the day.
